In the pipeline anti-corrosion construction process, we often use polypropylene anti-corrosion tape. In the process of use, it is necessary to accurately calculate the amount of anti-corrosion adhesive tape. According to the thickness of the tape and other standards, calculate the approximate amount needed to prevent insufficient conditions during construction.

   1. The inner belt with a thickness of 0.5mm and the outer belt with a thickness of 0.4mm can be used. The inner belt is wound with 50% overlap (equivalent to the thickness of the two-layer inner belt: 0.5mmx2u003d1.0mm), and the outer belt is wound with 10% overlap with a thickness of 0.4mm. The total thickness of the anti-corrosion layer after anti-corrosion construction is: 0.5mmx2 0.4mmu003d1.4mm.

  2. The inner belt with a thickness of 0.5mm and the outer belt with a thickness of 0.55mm can be used. The inner belt is wound with 50% overlap (equivalent to the thickness of the two-layer inner belt: 0.5mmx2u003d1.0mm), and the outer belt is wound with 10% overlap with a thickness of 0.55mm. The total thickness of the anti-corrosion layer after anti-corrosion construction is: 0.5mmx2 0.55mmu003d1.55mm.

  3. Both inner and outer belts with a thickness of 0.4mm can be used. The inner and outer belts are overlapped 50% and constructed according to the prescribed winding method to achieve the design requirement that the total thickness of the anti-corrosion layer is greater than 1.4mm: inner belt 0.4mmx2 and outer belt 0.4mmx2u003d1.6mm. (That is, the thickness of the selected tape should be close to one-fourth of the total thickness of the anti-corrosion layer required by the design. Because the inner belt and the outer belt are wound with 50% overlap, which is equivalent to a total of four layers of adhesive tape.

  4. According to the above tape specifications, you can calculate the tape area of u200bu200bvarious thickness specifications required for each m? steel pipe surface area to reach the specified anti-corrosion grade. Then calculate the total steel pipe area of u200bu200bthis anti-corrosion project (steel pipe diameter X 3.14 X total steel pipe length).

  5. After determining the total area of u200bu200btapes of various specifications required for the anti-corrosion project, the required weight of various specifications of polypropylene anti-corrosion tape can be calculated according to the following tape density (tape per m? weight):

   Tape with thickness 0.4mm: 0.5kg/m;

   tape with thickness 0.5mm: 0.6kg/m;

   tape with thickness 0.55mm: 0.66kg/m;

   0.8mm thick tape: 1.0kg/m.

   In addition, during the winding construction, whether manual winding, manual mechanical winding, manual winding machine winding or mechanical transmission winding is used, the polypropylene anticorrosive tape must have a certain tension, that is, a certain tension (in general) The tightening force is preferably 10-20N/CM) for winding construction.
