Ningbo grows into China's stationery capital, cultural industry grows 37.51% annually

Persisting in promoting development through reform, we have embarked on a road of cultural undertakings and cultural industry development with Ningbo characteristics. The added value of the city's cultural industry increased from 7.385 billion yuan in 2004 to 29.544 billion yuan in 2011, an average annual increase of 37.51%. At the same time, the stationery industry in our city has grown steadily. In 2011, total sales exceeded 45 billion yuan, output accounted for one-fifth of the country, and exports accounted for one-third of the country. Ningbo has become a veritable stationery capital of China.  According to Zhang Songcai, deputy director and spokesperson of the Municipal Party Committee Propaganda Department, in terms of cultural system reform, in June 2003, Zhejiang Province was listed as one of the pilot provinces for national cultural system reform, and Ningbo became one of the two pilot cities in the province. As of the end of 2011, 15 operational cultural units at the city and county levels had fully completed the task of restructuring and restructuring.   Over the past ten years, our city has always insisted on facing the grassroots and the masses, improving the public cultural service system that integrates urban and rural areas and benefits the whole people, and has effectively improved the cultural and people’s livelihood. Focusing on the 'Sanjiang Cultural CorridorAll towns (streets) in the city have cultural stations, more than 95% of the administrative villages have cultural activity venues, nearly 2,000 village (community) cultural palaces have been built, and the urban and rural '15-minute cultural activity circle' has basically taken shape. Mass cultural activities are widely carried out, and the goal of 'showing one movie in one village per month' is the first in the country. In the past ten years, 16 works in Ningbo have been commended by the Central Propaganda Department for the 'Five One Projects' for 4 consecutive sessions, ranking first among the sub-provincial cities and the cities separately listed in the plan.  In accelerating the pace of cultural industry development, through the promotion of the cultural development '1235' project, that is, to create 10 cultural clusters, cultivate 20 key cultural brands, build 30 key cultural projects, and support 50 key cultural enterprises. The added value of the city's cultural industry increased from 7.385 billion yuan in 2004 to 29.544 billion yuan in 2011, an average annual increase of 37.51%.   A number of characteristic private cultural industries such as the cultural and sports goods manufacturing industry and the antique furniture production and processing industry have been supported and developed. Ningbo stationery industry, led by private enterprises such as Guangbo, Beifa, and Deli, accounts for one-fifth of the country’s output and one-third of the country’s exports, making Ningbo a veritable stationery capital of China.
